OUR STORY

Hide & Giggle was founded by two designers with backgrounds in architecture and a shared decade at Skandium during its years as the UK's leading destination for Scandinavian design. That foundation shapes every piece we select: formal design training, deep brand relationships, and an eye shaped by years of handling the best of European design. We stock a deliberately small edit of European brands, many of them little-known in the UK, chosen because they bring something genuinely distinctive: considered materials, honest craft, and an aesthetic that belongs in a design-conscious home. These are pieces for families with children, and for those buying for them: design first, family always.

How we choose

We choose pieces that are tactile, sculptural, and built to last: made from natural materials, crafted with care, and designed to be touched, used, and loved. Not objects that ask to be protected from children, but objects that invite them in. Colour is part of our language, playful and deeply felt. Our edit is shaped by a deep love of European modernism, worn lightly and lived in fully.
At Hide & Giggle we believe in a new kind of family living, one where the home is a shared space for everyone in it. The things around children shape how they imagine, play, and grow, so we're here to spread a little joy. Design is not something parents set aside when they have children. It's something they pass on.
